Brown & Brown is seeking a Lead Full Stack and AI Developer to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL! We are seeking an experienced Lead Developer with deep expertise in .NET, DevOps, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and modern Azure cloud architecture. This role will drive the design, development, and deployment of secure, scalable solutions on Microsoft Azure, ensuring best practices in cloud-native development and secure coding throughout the software lifecycle.

Job Responsibility:

  • Architect, design, and implement advanced AI/ML models using Azure Document Intelligence, Azure AI Search, and related tools
  • Build and optimize end-to-end machine learning pipelines, including data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, deployment, and monitoring
  • Integrate AI/ML models into enterprise applications and services, ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust AI-driven solutions
  • Apply responsible AI practices, including fairness, privacy, and ethical considerations in model development and deployment
  • Design and implement cloud-native solutions using Azure services (Functions, App Services, Event Hub, Service Bus, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
  • Implement infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and cost management strategies
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity for cloud workloads
  • Champion secure coding practices and integrate security into every phase of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Design and implement secure authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
  • Conduct threat modeling, code reviews, and security testing
  • Ensure compliance with privacy, data protection, and industry regulations (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, HITRUST)
  • Leverage Fortify, Zabbix, Black Kite, Qualys, and other tools to monitor and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
  • Drive best practices in code quality, documentation, and delivery of AI features
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in software development
  • at least 3 years focused on AI/ML and Azure cloud solutions
  • Proven track record in designing and deploying AI/ML models and cloud-native applications
  • Strong proficiency in Python, C#, and .NET Core
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Document Intelligence, Azure DevOps, container orchestration
  • Deep understanding of secure development practices and compliance standards
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert and AI Engineer certifications
  • Familiarity with event-driven architecture and hybrid/multi-cloud strategies
