We are looking for a Lead Financial Controller for our global business partner operating in the aerospace and defense sector. We are seeking a high-potential, analytical, and 'hands-on' financial leader who is ready to take the next step in their career. In this role, you will serve as the primary financial authority on-site, managing local operations while acting as a strategic partner to both local management and the global finance headquarters in the Netherlands. Job Responsibility

  • Oversee all finance processes at the Izmir site, ensuring accuracy in daily operations, accounting, and reporting
  • Take full responsibility for the month-end closing process, ensuring high-quality output and meeting strict deadlines
  • Lead and mentor a team of 4, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Act as a bridge between the site and global management
  • translate complex financial data into actionable business insights (P&L analysis)
  • Ensure all financial activities comply with Free Trade Zone regulations and local legislation

Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in finance/controlling, preferably within a manufacturing environment
  • Deep knowledge of Free Trade Zone regulations
  • Strong understanding of P&L
  • knowledge of IFRS
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
