Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Financial Advisory Management Trainee in Wealth and Investment Management as part of the Wells Fargo Advisors' Manager Leadership Program (MLP). The MLP is intended to identify and develop new manager talent and help create the next generation of field leadership. This 24-month program allows flexibility to develop and prepare for a field leadership role.

Job Responsibility:

  • Assist in planning and execution of business development, recruiting, team development, branch administration, compliance, and operations
  • Work with Market Manager to support market business plan and grow market share
  • Manage a branch or territory for periods of time
  • Assist in supporting and developing management team with focus on driving productivity and recruiting
  • Assist in compliance, regulatory, and administrative issues
  • Develop relationships with key Financial Advisors and stakeholders
  • Utilize tools to understand policies and procedures
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Financial Advisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Successfully completed Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) Series 7 and 63 or 7 and 66 examinations (or FINRA recognized equivalents) sufficient to qualify for immediate FINRA registration
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate FINRA license(s)
  • Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements
  • Meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards
