Job Description

Based in Fresno, CA, the Lead Finance Coordinator is a full-time role that supports day-to-day finance operations across all locations within the Line of Business (LOB). This hands-on position focuses on financial coordination, invoice processing, account reconciliation, and compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards. The role partners closely with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate financial records, timely payments, and strong internal controls.

Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and support day-to-day financial activities, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records
  • Partner with Operations, Accounts Payable, and Procurement to ensure timely and accurate vendor payments
  • resolve invoice issues related to coding, approvals, receiving, and tax
  • Maintain and reconcile financial data, including account activity, supporting schedules, and variance explanations
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of reconciliations and required supporting documentation
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation, responding to information requests, and tracking follow-up items
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation in alignment with Aramark’s Business Conduct Policy and applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide guidance to field operations teams on finance-related processes, documentation standards, and timelines
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or designated leader

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience
  • 3+ years of finance or accounting experience with exposure to general ledger, invoice processing, reconciliations, and/or financial controls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across Finance and Operations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, and data reconciliation)
  • comfort working with large data sets
  • Experience with ERP or financial systems preferred (e.g., GFF, SMS, Micros, Retail Pro, or similar)

  • Maintain and support accurate depreciation, including asset additions, transfers, disposals/retirements, and place-in-service dates
  • Support CIP accounting by tracking project spends, coordinating capitalization, and ensuring costs move from CIP to fixed assets in a timely manner
