Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced and creative Lead Fashion Designer to join our design team, specializing in activewear and lifestyle apparel. With a focus on both style and function, this role requires a designer who can balance performance-driven designs with lifestyle aesthetics.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the design of innovative and cohesive activewear and lifestyle collections
  • Stay ahead of market trends, consumer preferences, and industry innovations
  • Prepare technical packs, detailed sketches, and specifications
  • Source and select performance fabrics, sustainable materials, and trims
  • Work closely with product development, production, marketing, and sales teams
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers
  • Ensure high standards of design quality and consistency

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ years of professional design experience in activewear and lifestyle apparel
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and technical design for activewear and lifestyle collections
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), 3D-design software (CLO, Optitex, etc.), and any other relevant design tools
  • Strong ability to forecast and interpret trends in both activewear and lifestyle categories
  • Excellent ability to create precise technical drawings, detailed spec sheets, and production-ready designs
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to present design concepts effectively
  • Proven ability to collaborate across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A passion for creating designs that blend style, functionality, and performance
  • Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
  • Familiarity with sustainable design practices and eco-friendly materials
  • Experience with international markets and understanding of diverse consumer needs
  • Knowledge of various fabrics
