Job Description

The Lead Esthetician assists by overseeing all treatment aspects of the spa and assisting service providers. Provides relaxing and thorough massages, facials, and body treatments to guests of the spa that uphold the standards of the Four Seasons Hotel.

Job Responsibility

  • Follow all standards set in place by Four Seasons for sequence of service
  • Able to utilize Book4Time and/or any computerized applications
  • Clean and properly flip the treatment room after each service
  • Maintain a neat and quiet work area at all times
  • Maintain a well-stocked treatment room at the end of each shift
  • Have knowledge of each area of the Spa and Fitness Center and provide information to guests about services offered in the Spa as well as the Hotel
  • Perform all treatments assigned to your shift
  • Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in the Employee Handbook
  • Have knowledge of retail offerings and be prepared to make appropriate recommendations to guests
  • Provide professional massages and body treatments for any guest/resident
  • Provide professional in room massages if required by a guest/resident
  • Respond appropriately in any hotel emergency or safety situation
  • Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff
  • Adhere to meal break policy and follow proper payroll procedures
  • Creates a team of service providers to meet all aspects of professionalism and service demands
  • Maintains a fully staffed department by recruiting, interviewing, training and assist with scheduling service provider staff
  • Responsible for end of month manual inventory of product
  • Responsible for maintaining par levels for professional product
  • Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation standards including all spa treatment rooms, and dispensary

Requirements

  • High school degree preferred
  • Current State of New York Massage Therapy License
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as Esthetician in a luxury spa setting
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and preferably Thursdays and Saturdays
