Job Description:

The Four Seasons Resort Lāna’i is looking for a Lead Esthetician who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. Our teams have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. This dual role includes performing advanced skincare treatments, supervising the aesthetics team, maintaining treatment protocols, and ensuring the spa operates at the highest level of excellence. You will also play a vital role in fostering a collaborative and professional environment while supporting the achievement of financial and service-related goals.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver personalized, high-quality facial treatments and aesthetic services
  • Maintain current knowledge of skincare techniques, products, and industry trends
  • Promote retail products and educate guests on personalized skincare routines
  • Supervise and mentor a team of aestheticians
  • Conduct training sessions
  • Evaluate aestheticians regularly
  • Develop team schedules
  • Oversee inventory levels for skincare supplies and retail products
  • Write and update treatment protocols
  • Conduct regular spa walkthroughs
  • Act as a point of contact for guest feedback
  • Recommend and promote new treatments and services
  • Create a welcoming and serene environment for every guest interaction

Requirements:

  • Legal work authorization in United States
  • Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30lbs, and push/pull as needed during shifts
  • Weekend and Holiday availability required
  • Hawaii State License as an Esthetician
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working as a certified esthetician in a luxury spa or wellness environment, preferably with at least 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Strong understanding of high-quality spa service experiences and skincare techniques
  • Ability to operate and maintain all facial equipment to the highest standards
