Job Responsibility

  • Should have design expertise in areas such as , Firewater P&IDs & Layouts, Firewater Demand Calculations, Firewater Hydraulic Calculations, Hazardous area classification, Passive Fire Protection, Escape route, dispersion analysis, Fire & Gas detection and Quantitative Risk Analysis
  • Should have experience in vendor document reviews of fire and safety equipment, deluge and foam system, clean agent system
  • Must have sufficient exposure to process safety reviews such as HAZID and ENVID, HAZOP, SIL (LOPA)
  • Must be capable of providing technical safety related advice and guidance
  • Must have sufficient exposure to Indian and International Codes and Standards
  • Must have excellent communication and leadership skills and must be able to manage multiple projects
  • Hands-on experience in pipenet software- Steady state, Transient modules
  • Hands on experience in Naviswork freedom software for review and provide comments on Firefighting systems to Departments on timely manner
  • Ensure documents are checked in line with Company Project and Quality requirements
  • Ensure timely delivery of deliverables
  • Raise man-hour variation for additions to the original scope of work
  • Support Supervisor/ HOD in proposal / manhour estimates
  • Participate in HSE reviews/audits on the project

Requirements

  • Bachelor/ Master of Engineering in (Chemical / Petro-Chemical/ Mechanical/ Fire & Safety/ Petroleum)
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in Design HSE / Technical Safety / Loss Prevention related functions in Oil and Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Chemical Projects
  • Knowledge in offshore/ onshore engineering. Adequate experience in Concept, FEED and EPC projects
  • Min. 8 years of experience in reputed engineering consultancies/ EPC
