Job Description:

Our Team is part of the Product and Technology department. We are a team of 15 members focusing on managing the company's business systems. This role reports to the Enterprise Technology Manager and is hybrid based in Berlin. We are looking for you, an accomplished Lead Engineer Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to join our Business Systems & Integration department. You are a technology expert and solution architect who excels both in technology and business. You implement finance related Microsoft Business Central solutions with your deep system related expertise.

Job Responsibility:

  • Spearhead multiple technical projects simultaneously, leveraging your extensive knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central to drive development, implementations, upgrades, and integrations
  • Serve as the technical lead, providing in-depth guidance on system capabilities, configurations, and best practices to both internal teams and stakeholders
  • Develop and implement robust technical solutions together with other engineers and application manager
  • Reviewing technical implementation, code, customizations and design from junior engineers and implementation providers
  • Design and implement integration solutions between Microsoft Dynamics Business Central and other business systems, ensuring data integrity, system compatibility, and optimal performance together with middleware engineers
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams and data flow models
  • Mentor and guide team members on technical aspects of Microsoft Dynamics, fostering a culture of continuous learning and expertise development

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Business Central, including hands-on experience with customizations, extensions, and integrations
  • 3+ years in a technical leadership role
  • Expert knowledge of AL programming language and Business Central development tools
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and modern development practices
  • Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and system integrations
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
