Job Description:

Experienced Lead engineer role in Storage/Networking domain at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, working on HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 product line. This role involves designing, developing, and troubleshooting system software programs for storage systems, with focus on networking components and enterprise storage products.

Job Responsibility:

  • Designs, develops, troubleshoots system software programs for enhancements and new products for the storage systems
  • Develops system/platform software in area of networking on the storage arrays
  • Design, configure, and install various network devices and services, from routing, switching, and firewalls
  • Define and lead Enterprise storage product efforts
  • Design, specify, and lead the implementation of the networking features of the storage array
  • Implement and enforce network security policies, manage access controls
  • Work with cross organizational teams to arrive at best solutions
  • Designs enhancements, updates, and programming changes for portions and subsystems of systems software
  • Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities required
  • Writes and executes complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation
  • Collaborates and communicates with management, internal, and external partners
  • Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members

Requirements:

  • Deep knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, etc.), routing, switching, and firewall configuration
  • Deep expertise in Kubernetes including familiarity with production issues/solutions
  • Proficiency with data structures, algorithms and multi-threaded programming
  • In depth knowledge of OS internals and storage concepts
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • mastery in English and local language
  • Typically over 10 years of experience
