We are looking for a Lead Engineer - EI&C (Electrification, Instrumentation & Controls) to join our Project Execution Engineering Team in the Pulp, Energy and Circularity Business. Our unit designs and delivers electrification, instrumentation, and process control solutions for pulp mills, energy producers, and other industries (including marine) worldwide.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the technical delivery of projects from start to finish
Ensure solutions meet customer standards and expectations
Oversee quality, schedule, and budget within your scope
Coordinate engineering work with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
Make technical decisions, schedule tasks, supervise engineering and field installation at sites
Make purchasing for E&I equipment and participating of process equipment procurement
Use the customer contract as a key tool to manage scope and delivery
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Electronics, Energy, or Industrial Engineering, or another relevant field
Several years of experience in instrumentation or electrification within projects
Fluent English communication skills
Willingness to travel regularly (short duration monthly basis for meetings with customer and suppliers)
Strong prioritization and decision-making skills
The ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
A proactive mindset and willingness to learn and seek solutions collaboratively
Nice to have:
Familiarity with electrification and processes in power boilers, power plants, or recovery boilers is a strong plus
