At Coloplast, strong employment relations are fundamental to how we operate. We are now looking for a Lead Employment Relations Specialist to take a central role in shaping and supporting employment practices in Denmark - while contributing to direction and standards at HQ level. This is a role with significant scope and visibility across the organisation, offering the opportunity to influence both day-to-day employment decisions and the broader standards that guide how we work.

Job Responsibility:

  • Advise leaders and P&C on employment legal matters such as warnings, dismissals, termination agreements, and general employment law
  • Act as trusted and consistent advisor in matters related to maternity and parental leave, sick leave, flex jobs, and job clarification
  • Draft warnings, terminations, and severance agreements in close collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Ensure employment contracts, addendums, templates, and policies are updated and compliant with Danish legislation
  • Define, document, and maintain clear processes, guidelines, and standards to ensure alignment and consistency across the organisation
  • Proactively share best practices and relevant employment law knowledge with leaders and HR to strengthen organisational capability
  • Contribute to leader guidance and support within day-to-day employment law topics
  • Collaborate closely with HR Operations on contracts, documentation, and system registrations
  • Handle work and residence permit applications for locally employed foreign employees
  • Support negotiations related to union agreements and local agreements
  • Ensure statutory reporting and employment-related statistics are delivered accurately and on time

Requirements:

  • A relevant academic background and solid knowledge of Danish employment legislation
  • Experience advising on employment relations in a larger and preferably international organisation
  • The ability to balance operational execution with strategic perspective
  • Strong business understanding and the ability to balance legal considerations with organisational realities
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and pragmatically
  • Comfort with both hands-on administrative tasks and more strategic responsibilities
  • Fluency in Danish and English, written and spoken
