YOUR ROLE AS THE LEAD ELECTROMECHANIC & LINE COORDINATOR: As the Lead Electromechanic & Line Coordinator for our industry-leading client, you will be the driving force behind their highly automated and precise Line 12. This is a unique hybrid role that blends the technical troubleshooting of a skilled night electromechanic with the floor leadership of a line leader. By joining the largest manufacturer of deodorants in North America, your work as a Lead Electromechanic & Line Coordinator will directly ensure operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while empowering the team around you.
Job Responsibility
Own the performance: Ensure the mechanical reliability of a dedicated, highly automated production line (Line 12) during the 12-hour night shift
Lead and coach: As a Lead Electromechanic & Line Coordinator, you will act as a proximity leader on the floor—supervising, training, and supporting operators and day laborers to promote collective performance
Troubleshoot and repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and electro-pneumatic failures quickly to minimize downtime
Maintain and adjust: Perform hands-on mechanical adjustments, precise format changes, and regular preventive maintenance according to standard sheets
Interpret technical data: Read and execute instructions from engineering drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical sketches
Ensure quality and safety: Coordinate all line activities to maintain fluid operations, strict product quality, and a safe, hygienic work environment
Requirements
DEP in Electromechanics of Automated Systems OR Industrial Mechanics (Mandatory)
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment (automated systems, maintenance, troubleshooting)
Bilingualism (French/English)
Ability and willingness to work a 12-hour night shift schedule
Previous experience in a coaching, supervisory, or "floor leadership" capacity (nice to have)
Experience working specifically with highly automated, precision machinery (nice to have)
