Lead Electrical Engineer / Designer

• Lead the design for major electrical construction projects
• Provide daily technical direction to a minimum of two subordinates, conducting performance reviews and providing mentorship to junior staff
• Conduct site reviews, manage change notices, and oversee contract administration
• Respond to and secure Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Manage and nurture professional relationships with building owners, architects, and contractors
• Select appropriate equipment and verify all design calculations

• A P.Eng., C.E.T., LEL, or LET designation is strongly preferred
• 7 - 10+ years of electrical engineering experience specifically within the building services industry
• Extensive knowledge of OBC, OESC, NFPA, and IES codes
• Proven track record in educational, commercial, or residential sectors
• Proficiency in delivering documentation for power systems, auxiliary systems (IT/AV), and site photometric plans
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Comfortable working out of the Hamilton, ON office 5 days a week

Experience with healthcare or long-term care

• Competitive Compensation: $45.00 – $57.00 per hour based on experience
