We’re looking for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join a top-tier Vancouver consultancy. You will own the design process for major mineral processing initiatives, converting complex visions into detailed, site-ready blueprints. As a technical anchor, you will mentor emerging talent and ensure seamless execution from the first study to the final power-on.

Job Responsibility

  • The Lead Electrical Designer spearheads mineral processing projects, transforming conceptual frameworks into precise engineering blueprints
  • You will champion technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle—from feasibility to commissioning—while empowering the next generation of engineers through active mentorship

Requirements

  • Relevant electrical engineering diploma or equivalent
  • Solid design experience on complex high-value projects using AutoCAD 3D
  • Essential 3D modelling experience
  • ideally using Micro Station
  • Experience producing general layouts, PFDs, schematics, and single-line drawings
  • Understanding of wet plant mining plant design
  • Experience in specialized electrical teams for greenfield and brownfield projects
