Job Responsibility:
Implement and continuously improve the company’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) management system to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence
Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness
Support regulatory inspections, corporate audits, and customer assessments to maintain compliance
Participate in process safety reviews, support safety evaluations for new processes to ensure safe design and operation of processes
Establish and maintain chemical management systems covering procurement, storage, usage, transportation, and disposal in compliance with regulations and company policies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
7–10 years of EHS experience in biopharmaceutical or chemical industries
Familiarity with process safety methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA)
Knowledge of Chinese EHS regulations and international standards (ISO14001, ISO45001)
Hands-on experience in chemical management and explosion protection
Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
Experience in multinational companies preferred
Nice to have:
Certified Safety Engineer or international EHS certifications
Project management experience or involvement in EHS support for plant construction/expansion projects
