Job Responsibility:

  • Implement and continuously improve the company’s EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) management system to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards
  • Conduct regular safety risk assessments, identify potential hazards, and develop corrective actions
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning to prevent recurrence
  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills to ensure preparedness
  • Support regulatory inspections, corporate audits, and customer assessments to maintain compliance
  • Participate in process safety reviews, support safety evaluations for new processes to ensure safe design and operation of processes
  • Establish and maintain chemical management systems covering procurement, storage, usage, transportation, and disposal in compliance with regulations and company policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Safety Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields
  • 7–10 years of EHS experience in biopharmaceutical or chemical industries
  • Familiarity with process safety methodologies (PHA, HAZOP, LOPA)
  • Knowledge of Chinese EHS regulations and international standards (ISO14001, ISO45001)
  • Hands-on experience in chemical management and explosion protection
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
  • Experience in multinational companies preferred

Nice to have:

  • Certified Safety Engineer or international EHS certifications
  • Project management experience or involvement in EHS support for plant construction/expansion projects
