As the OSHC Lead Educator, you will oversee and lead the strategic and operational management of our newest program, Glenorchy Uniting OSHC. You will drive quality, sustainability, and service delivery. You will support your team to ensure our practices facilitate a program consistent with the National Quality Standards and reflects the National Quality Framework, taking our OSHC programs to the next level.

Requirements:
Demonstrated organisational skills to juggle competing priorities and manage timelines
Experience in people management, supervision, performance management and administration
Strong interpersonal skills with sound ability to write professional work instructions
Strong understanding of OSHC operational requirements, including demonstration of applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices
Comprehensive knowledge of My Time, Our Place that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes
Demonstrated experience in developing quality within a service and shape the overall performance, including high quality learning and leisure experiences for children
Demonstrated experience in shaping a service delivery and practices to promote growth in quality care, safety, wellbeing and support of children and families accessing a service
Experience in facilitating employee learning to develop knowledge and skills
Experience in adhering to legislative frameworks and organisational requirements
Experience in supervising and managing employees, including rostering
Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates- or willingness to obtain
Current Employee Working with Children Check / Working with Vulnerable Persons Check*
Nice to have:
Diploma or Certificate III in Children’s Services or equivalent
