Job Description

To give children healthy foundations in fantastic settings, helping them build the confidence and resilience that will set them up for success later in life. You will be leading a dedicated team of friendly and supportive staff, helping to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential. We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Lead Early Years Educator (Third in Charge) who will work in partnership with the educator team to ensure the successful running of the nursery.

Job Responsibility

  • Leading a dedicated team of friendly and supportive staff, helping to create a warm, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels safe, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential

  • Encourage a love of learning through high quality teaching under the EYFS framework
  • Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich stimulating experiences
  • Build relationships with the team to create an inspiring working environment
  • Lead, motivate and inspire the educator team
  • Be the third in command in the nursery after the Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager
  • Identifying areas of change and implementing

Requirements

  • Level 3 or above qualification within early years
  • Minimum of 6 months experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or with children under the age of 5
  • Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
  • Reflecting the Storal values around responsibility, openness and working together
