Job Description:

Together AI is seeking a Lead DX Engineer – documentation to be the founding member of our docs team and focus on owning and improving our documentation. Docs are an incredibly important part of the success of our platform, so this is an important role that will be reporting to our Director of Developer Experience. This role is for a senior engineer who is obsessed about developer experience, enjoys writing and educating developers, and wants to lead building world class docs, including eventually building out their own team. We’re looking for someone with expertise to lead comprehensive documentation efforts and drive adoption among the global developer community.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the comprehensive documentation strategy across our products
  • Write comprehensive guides on how to do inference, finetuning, and training on our platform
  • Collab with the engineering team to document & showcase new features as they come out, with Python and TypeScript examples using our SDKs
  • Create use case specific cookbooks and guides that address common customer use cases that use our API

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing, engineering, and/or developer education
  • Experience building AI applications and working with LLMs
  • Proven track record of creating content (docs/guides/cookbooks) about developer tools
  • Excellent technical communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts to various developer audiences
  • Proficiency in writing code examples with Python and TypeScript
  • Quickly adapt to new domains, learning and articulating complex concepts into clear, comprehensive content
  • Understanding of LLM APIs including features like structured outputs & function calling a plus
