Job Responsibility:

  • Directing a high skilled team of 50+ technology professionals, will act as the IT leader responsible for core adjudication strategic programs work stream running on the iSeries AS/400 platform
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of optimized technology solutions for CVS Health's RxClaim Adjudication platform
  • Create and ensure the implementation of application development standards to drive architectural roadmap for simplification and modularization of key adjudication functions
  • Assist in the business development process, setting priorities, and understanding requirements and technical platforms available to meet the business needs

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of Healthcare IT experience in a large-scale complex technology environment, leading IT teams focused on application/system architecture & application development of the AS/400 platform and related technologies
  • In depth understanding of APIs and microservices-based architecture
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice to have:

  • Health Care Industry domain knowledge including 2+ years’ experience in a Director level role or 4+ years of diverse experience in a Sr Manager role
  • Experience in enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps and DataOps
  • Experience integrating with legacy mainframe/mid-range AS400 applications including developing roadmaps for modernization of the applications
