Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in the PBM industry to join our team as the Lead Director, Rebate Analytics and Client Value Optimization. You will lead a team delivering value to the PBM through rebate guarantee adjustments, variance analysis, and large dataset analysis to optimize rebate performance. The candidate should have a deep understanding of PBM financials and operations, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in financial and data analytics tools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a team of employees, including 3 direct reports
  • Deliver value to the PBM via rebate guarantee adjustments
  • Conduct client actuals to forecast variance analysis
  • Analyze large datasets to drive strategic decisions and optimize rebate performance
  • Oversee the process of adjusting rebate guarantees to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements
  • Monitor the impact of rebate guarantees on overall financial performance
  • Develop strategies to address variances and provide insights to senior management
  • Propose process improvements and execute solutions
  • Regularly interact with senior PBM executives to share findings and recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years experience leading and developing teams
  • 7+ years of experience in the PBM or Managed Care industry, with a strong understanding of rebate management and financial analysis
  • 7+ years experience in financial analysis, data analytics, or a similar role
  • Experience pulling large data sets in financial analysis and data analytics tools, such as SAS, SQL, Excel, and Tableau
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have:

  • ASA/FSA preferred
  • Experience with rebate forecasting and modeling
  • Knowledge of industry-specific rebate practices and regulations
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
