Job Description:

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of Public Affairs Campaigns to join the team in Washington, DC. The role involves shaping and executing the company’s public affairs strategy, managing advocacy campaign efforts, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Support the design and implementation of comprehensive public affairs initiatives aligned with key enterprise priorities
develop localized campaign strategy to support public affairs initiatives
provide strategic direction for and management of teams engaging in third-party outreach and mobilization
direct the activities of external consultants on engagement initiatives
liaise with trade association campaigns
manage budgets, contracts, and reporting related to public affairs initiatives
develop reports and presentations on public affairs and campaign activities for senior management.

Requirements:

At least 10 years of experience working in public affairs
public policy communications
political campaigns
public relations
public policy
state executives/legislatures.

Nice to have:

Expertise in health care public policy issues
advocacy communications
political campaigns
regulatory environment
demonstrated experience managing public affairs campaigns inclusive of paid, earned, owned and social media
ability to manage multiple geographic campaigns concurrently.
