Job Responsibility:

  • Drive strategic and innovative pharmacy initiatives with Boards of Pharmacy across your assigned regions
  • Shape and execute the regional regulatory strategy
  • Help shape the development and implementation of regulatory and advocacy priorities
  • Support relationship‑building with Boards of Pharmacy, industry coalitions, associations, academic partners, and other external stakeholders
  • Cultivate cross‑functional partnerships across Corporate Affairs, Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness, Legal, and other business units
  • May delegate ownership of select state‑level initiatives, including direct Board of Pharmacy engagement and the development of comment letters and regulatory analyses
  • Mentor junior team members

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy Degree: BS Pharm or PharmD
  • 8+ years pharmacy and healthcare experience, including knowledge of and experience regulatory laws
  • Experience advising on pharmacy, healthcare issues
  • History of influencing others with and without authority
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Prominent level of interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple client areas
  • Demonstrated history of high performance
  • Any additional tasks as required by manager or supervisor
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Pharmacist
  • Travel- Ability, and willingness, to travel regularly 40% of time

Nice to have:

  • Juris Doctor
  • Fellowship or Residency related to Pharmacy Regulatory
  • Experience providing regulatory research and analysis in the retail healthcare industry
  • Experience providing regulatory support for Board of Pharmacy review
  • Experience working for a Fortune 5 company in professional practice, or a similar function for a retail pharmacy company
