Job Responsibility:
Drive strategic and innovative pharmacy initiatives with Boards of Pharmacy across your assigned regions
Shape and execute the regional regulatory strategy
Help shape the development and implementation of regulatory and advocacy priorities
Support relationship‑building with Boards of Pharmacy, industry coalitions, associations, academic partners, and other external stakeholders
Cultivate cross‑functional partnerships across Corporate Affairs, Pharmacy & Consumer Wellness, Legal, and other business units
May delegate ownership of select state‑level initiatives, including direct Board of Pharmacy engagement and the development of comment letters and regulatory analyses
Mentor junior team members
Requirements:
Pharmacy Degree: BS Pharm or PharmD
8+ years pharmacy and healthcare experience, including knowledge of and experience regulatory laws
Experience advising on pharmacy, healthcare issues
History of influencing others with and without authority
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Prominent level of interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple client areas
Demonstrated history of high performance
Any additional tasks as required by manager or supervisor
Regular and reliable attendance
Currently licensed as a Registered Pharmacist
Travel- Ability, and willingness, to travel regularly 40% of time
Nice to have:
Juris Doctor
Fellowship or Residency related to Pharmacy Regulatory
Experience providing regulatory research and analysis in the retail healthcare industry
Experience providing regulatory support for Board of Pharmacy review
Experience working for a Fortune 5 company in professional practice, or a similar function for a retail pharmacy company
