The Lead Director, Enterprise Strategy will play a pivotal role in supporting new growth initiatives and enabling execution of key strategic priorities. You will operate within a nimble team dedicated to top priority strategic initiatives with executive leadership visibility. You will partner closely with business stakeholders across our core businesses. This role requires comfort in working with ambiguity, as our team strives to create simplicity within complex, cross-functional strategic challenges. You will utilize market insights alongside CVS-focused expertise to help chart the path forward for a vertically integrated health care company. Requirements:
10 years of experience in a dynamic, fast-moving profession
related experience within management consulting, corporate development, financial analysis, public policy, product development, mergers and acquisitions, or similar role(s)
Ability to lead the strategy development and execution planning of transformative projects from end to end, with both internal and external entities
Ability to deliver engagements, with supporting zero-defect analysis
Ability to “manage up”, influencing internal and external partners, often more senior in job title
Expertise in storyboarding and logically framing presentations, both in written deliverables and in facilitating live discussions
Executive presence: demonstrated ability to actively listen, empathize, and communicate effectively
Comfort in ambiguity
demonstrated ability to simplify complex problems and concepts
Comfort working in a matrixed environment and in managing competing priorities
demonstrated ability to juggle concurrent projects and prioritize effectively
BA/BS degree required
