The CVS Digital Developer Experience organization focuses on building tools, platforms and services that help developers do their best work. We support tens of thousands of developers across CVS Health, and our responsibilities span source control, CI systems, build and deployment pipelines, artifact repositories, development environments, and AI‑powered coding tools.

Job Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the end‑to‑end platforms and services that make up the core CVS Health developer toolchain
  • Accountable for delivering highly reliable, secure, and consistent CI/CD capabilities at enterprise scale
  • Guide the rollout and adoption of AI coding assistants across a large engineering population
  • Building and sustaining a high‑performing engineering team
  • Leading modernization work, driving the migration from legacy tooling to modern vibrancy tools

Requirements:

  • At least ten (10+) years of IT or backend engineering experience supporting enterprise systems
  • 6+ years of experience with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and cloud providers such as AWS, GCP and Azure
  • 5+ years of experience administering and scaling GitHub or comparable source control platforms for large engineering populations
  • 4+ years of experience partnering with architecture, product, and program leadership to influence platform direction
  • 4+ years of experience managing enterprise artifact repository solutions such as Jfrog, GAR or Nexus
  • 4+ years of experience managing CI or CD platforms at scale in large engineering organizations
  • 4+ years of experience managing teams with direct reports and leading large engineering organizations across multiple locations
  • Experience leading teams within Agile or Scrum environments

  • Experience managing multiple large workstreams and dependencies
