Job Responsibility

  • Designs, develops, and tests software applications to meet system requirements from concept through product release
  • Responsible for the design, development, testing and documenting of a system, subsystem, or a component as part of an overall architecture
  • Applies the latest technology and research findings/results into engineering designs solutions and design rules
  • Works with an outside-in view in order to understand and fulfil customer and market requirements as well as competitive alternatives
  • Works closely with the global competence community and Research organization to stay updated with the latest insights in innovations and technical breakthroughs
  • Designs, realizes, tests (sub-) systems or components based on design requirements and produces specs for the product and propositions
  • Drives IP creation and protection (Patents, Trade secrets, Copyrights)
  • Writes, updates and maintains development reports and project deliverables
  • Contributes to and drives technology road mapping
  • Provides coaching and mentoring within the team to support effective use of available knowledge and skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with a focus on embedded systems
  • Experience in embedded software development, including programming in C/C++ and working with real-time operating systems
