Lead Developer

• Lead the development of software applications for design-facing CAD systems, focusing on housing construction and truss layouts
• Utilize C++, C#, and the .NET Framework to design, implement, and optimize software solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of on-premise and cloud-based systems
• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure software reliability and performance
• Translate user requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced developers, fostering growth and development within the team
• Write software for CAD systems such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks, leveraging transferable skills to enhance functionality
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in software development
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation in software development

• Strong understanding of software development principles, including abstraction and unit testing
• Familiarity with hybrid on-premise and cloud-based ecosystems

• A background in civil engineering is preferred but not required, provided the candidate possesses solid software development skills
