Job Description:

LEAD DESIGN ENGINEER - TURBINE in TURBINE ENGINEERING with designations ranging from Sr. Engineer to AGM (in commensurate with experience) for Executing Basic and Detail Design of Pump Storage Projects (PSPs), Large Hydro conventional Turbine, Large Refurbushiments.

Job Responsibility:

  • Basic & Detail design of Turbine assemblies and components
  • Layouts, Drawings, BoMs, Purchase specifications, Calculations, Analysis
  • Continuous improvement of product & processes, optimisation
  • Technical troubleshooting at shop and site
  • Handling customer queries and approvals for Indian and International projects
  • Design collaboration and reviews with technical experts in parent company at Europe

Requirements:

  • B.E/ M.E./M.Tech - Mechanical Engineering from reputated Institute
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical design of Hydro Turbines, Heavy Engineering Industrial components using 3D CAD software (NX and TeamCenter preferable)
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering design concepts
  • Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes involved
  • Experience of technical trouble shooting
  • Proactive, avid learner, team player, good communication ability
  • Proficiency in English, Hindi
  • Hydro Turbine Design & Engineering along with the whole product life cycle
  • Readiness to travel
