Job Description:

This is a key role for a technically strong professional who can manage concept design, detailed engineering, technical coordination, and design governance while supporting efficient and profitable project delivery.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead engineering and design for generator installation projects from tender stage to handover
  • Develop concept designs and technical assumptions for pricing and tender submissions
  • Manage and approve IFC drawings, layouts, installation drawings, and technical submittals
  • Coordinate mechanical and electrical design requirements for generator systems
  • Support project execution by resolving RFIs, reviewing design changes, and ensuring compliance
  • Drive design standardization to improve efficiency and reduce rework
  • Support testing, commissioning, and handover documentation

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • 5-8 years of experience in generator installations, power projects, or industrial MEP engineering
  • Proven experience delivering designs from concept stage to IFC
  • Strong knowledge of fuel systems, exhaust systems, ventilation, and heat rejection
  • Experience coordinating consultants, fabrication teams, and site execution teams
  • Generator installation engineering including LV/MV systems and ATS/synchronization interfaces
  • Electrical-mechanical coordination for generator systems
  • Structural and foundation interface, including vibration isolation considerations
  • AutoCAD (mandatory)
  • MS Excel (advanced)

Nice to have:

Revit/BIM or ETAP knowledge is an advantage
