Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Lead Delivery Manager to join our growing Vancouver team, focused on delivering large-scale custom Data Warehouse (DWH) and data platform programmes for global sports and entertainment clients. In this role, you will lead complex delivery initiatives spanning cloud data platforms, integrations, reporting, analytics, customer data, and enterprise data transformation. You will work closely with engineering, architecture, product, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery across multiple concurrent workstreams. You will play a key role in driving programme execution, managing dependencies across technical teams, and ensuring high-quality outcomes within fast-paced enterprise environments. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong delivery leadership, technical understanding of data ecosystems, and the ability to manage distributed global teams across multiple time zones.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale custom DWH and data platform programmes for enterprise clients
  • Own delivery plans, RAID management, milestone tracking, governance, and reporting across multiple workstreams
  • Coordinate delivery across data engineering, cloud infrastructure, integrations, BI/reporting, QA, and architecture teams
  • Manage cross-functional dependencies and ensure alignment with broader programme roadmaps and client objectives
  • Drive delivery readiness for releases, migrations, testing phases, and go-live activities
  • Support programme governance through status reporting, financial tracking, resource planning, and stakeholder updates
  • Act as the primary delivery lead for assigned programmes and client engagements
  • Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, internal technical teams, and third-party vendors
  • Facilitate collaboration across globally distributed teams, including North America, Europe, and offshore delivery centres
  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, blockers, and mitigation plans clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and programme reviews
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and delivery excellence

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering large-scale custom Data Warehouse and enterprise data platform programmes
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud-based data ecosystems, including data engineering, integrations, reporting, and analytics workflows
  • Experience managing complex multi-workstream technical programmes with significant cross-functional dependencies
  • Strong delivery management experience within consulting, agency, or enterprise technology environments
  • Hands-on experience with governance and programme management disciplines including RAID management, RAG reporting, milestone tracking, financial tracking, and resource management
  • Comfortable working closely with technical teams including Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Cloud Engineers, QA, and BI teams
  • Experience operating across global delivery models and distributed teams
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid delivery models
  • Tools: Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar

Nice to have

  • Experience delivering Microsoft Azure-based data platforms and modern cloud DWH solutions
  • Familiarity with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or similar platforms
  • Experience within sports, media, entertainment, or customer data environments
  • Exposure to Customer Data Platforms (CDP), MarTech, CRM, or advanced analytics initiatives
