Job Description:

This job role is for a Data Science Team Lead within Technology and is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Job Responsibility:

Lead integration of functions with understanding of client core business functions
Solve the highest-impact, highest-profile problems with significant business impact
Influence and negotiate with senior leaders
Contribute to technical direction and strategic decisions
Conduct management activities, including resource management, work allocation, mentoring/coaching
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

Deep expertise in Document Understanding using Generative AI
Proven experience leading the design, development, and deployment of GenAI solutions with LangChain, Python, and modern LLM frameworks
Strong ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
Demonstrated experience in tracking execution, managing team tasks, and delivering regular progress reports
Familiarity with the Model Risk Management (MRM) lifecycle
Proficiency in Python and tools such as LangChain, Pandas, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and FastAPI
Strong understanding of prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and LLM evaluation strategies
Familiarity with software engineering best practices
Track record of building cross-functional collaboration
Strong communication, mentorship, and leadership skills

Nice to have:

Master's degree preferred
