Job Description:

Lead role in Wells Fargo's multiyear transformation journey to build centralized capability for storing, managing and analyzing Financial Crimes Compliance Operations data to fulfill the Bank's BSA/AML regulatory, compliance and risk commitments. Delivering curated data products that are valuable, understandable, and trustworthy to Operations and Risk analytics communities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead complex data product initiatives including cross-functional projects
  • Drive data enablement strategies and roadmaps while adhering to data governance standards
  • Make decisions on prioritization, roadmap, and architecture design
  • Strategically collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to ensure optimal data product solutions
  • Provide strategic input on new use case intake, prioritization, and product roadmap definition
  • Manage complex datasets focusing on consumer business needs
  • Create and maintain data product roadmaps throughout the product life cycle
  • Design and maintain innovative data products for data intelligence, analytics, and reporting
  • Serve as strategic liaison between data management, product teams, data engineering, and architecture teams

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of data product or data management experience
  • 3+ years of risk and/or compliance domain experience applied to financial services firms or vendors
  • Strong knowledge of BSA/AML data use cases and associated data products
  • Knowledge of the remediation lifecycle
  • Proficiency in SQL and SAS
  • Knowledge of the modern data stack and experience with data and analytics technologies such as Teradata, Hadoop, Google Big Query, Tableau, Alteryx, Spark, etc.
  • Demonstrated strengths in strategic solutioning, planning, and secondary management
  • Knowledge of ROI assessments and goal planning
  • Experience working closely with senior and executive leadership
  • Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to execute in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities

Nice to have:

  • Experience with executive communications
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
