Job Description

As a Lead Logistics Coordinator, you will support the traceability of finished goods into and out of the Automated Storage Retrieval System (ASRS) within the factory warehouse. You will help to maintain ASRS reliability and efficiency through troubleshooting and projects, while also maintaining the systems that control the ASRS and conveyance to ensure proper throughput for warehouse operations. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art, automated equipment as a subject matter expert within our brand new facility in this technical role. This role will be night shift, 6pm - 6am, on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor the operation of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), including messaging & troubleshooting within the Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SynQ (ASRS logic system)
  • Respond to and correct any problems within the ASRS systems including pallet jams, pallet tracking errors, etc.
  • Process Quality Assurance holds and requests to move product out of the ASRS systems
  • Monitor system performance by tracking key metrics such as inventory variance, system moves, etc.
  • Actively participate in all Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives within the factory
  • Comply with all Nestle and Purina policies and procedures

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse coordination, material tracking, logistics, or related within a warehouse, distribution center, manufacturing or military environment

Nice to have

  • Automation experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
