Job Description:

Lead Controller role in Finance and Corporate Strategy team ensuring capital strategies are operationally supported and strategically focused. Partners with businesses to secure greatest return on investment through financial analysis, reporting, and driving cross-business initiatives.

Job Responsibility:

Driving Audit, tax and compliance for overseas entities
Drafting and review of Financial Statement and Notes to Accounts under IFRS/Local GAAP
Handling large statutory audits and managing audit requirements remotely
Handling and finalizing audits for India and other regional entities with Big4 firms
Coaching and reviewing work performed by level 1 controller
GAAP reconciliation between US GAAP and IFRS/Local GAAP
Drafting tax computation and Deferred tax accounting
Filing Income/Corporation tax return
Consolidation, inter-company transactions and reconciliations including foreign currency accounting
Ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies
Reviewing Balance sheet accounts reconciliations

Requirements:

Qualified Chartered Accountant with a bachelor's degree
6-8 years of post-qualification experience
Strong Accounting and/or auditing experience
IFRS/IND-AS Qualification/Experience preferred
Deep knowledge and understanding of accounting standards and principles
Auditing experience with Big4 firm as an auditee/auditor
Hands-on with accounting standards, Audit methodologies and execution
Must be hands-on with MS Excel
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Working knowledge of Indian tax and Transfer pricing

Nice to have:

Overseas audit handling experience
Knowledge of SAP
