Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to join the Data Management Control team within Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). This role involves leading complex initiatives to mitigate data management risks and providing risk management consulting.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging data management risks with broad impact across WIM
Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area
Provide consulting support to help business teams identify risks and design and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
Participate in Control Management projects and cross-functional working groups
Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies
Collaborate with relevant business group and line of business control teams to identify risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies
Assist in developing and maintaining risk monitoring and reporting processes

Requirements:

5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
Experience with Data Management risk and controls
Experience with Wells Fargo systems, applications, technology tools
Experience with Wells Fargo risk programs, including RCSA and Issue Management
Strong relationship-building and communication skills
Strong presentation and reporting skills
Demonstrated initiative, accountability, and professionalism
Effective time management and organizational skills

Nice to have:

Experience with Data Management risk and controls

Experience with Wells Fargo risk programs, including RCSA and Issue Management
