Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer within the Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Control Team, which is responsible for the implementation and management of the First Line of Defense corporate risk program requirements. This position will support Electronic Trading (E-Trading) across Capital Markets.

Job Responsibility:

Serve as primary control contact for Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Electronic Trading
Engage with Line of Business partners on strategic and operational matters
Execute and manage core risk programs
Manage E-Trading governance forums
Advise on control design and implementation
Coordinate with control team managers
Investigate and document Operational Risk Events
Support E-Trading Governance Framework initiatives
Drive E-Trading framework enhancements
Build inventory of business processes and governance channels
Establish routines with risk and audit partners
Conduct risk assessments
Report findings and influence control improvements
Maintain regulatory control profiles
Analyze business and industry changes
Support Control Assurance efforts
Provide risk reporting and updates

Requirements:

5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience
Knowledge of Electronic Trading and Capital Markets
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical capabilities
Professional and proactive mindset
Ability to escalate and challenge effectively
Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
Technical understanding of business operations
Leadership in risk structure development
Judgment in escalation
Conflict resolution and objectivity
Analytical and reporting skills
Problem-solving and risk mitigation
