Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer for Consumer & Small Business Banking (CSBB) Operations supporting their Customer Service functions. This role is responsible for the implementation and management of the First Line of Defense risk program requirements.

Job Responsibility:

  • Act as an advisor to more experienced leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies
  • Facilitate control design, development and assessment for process changes
  • Lead control assessments and perform walkthroughs of controls with control owners
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report impact of decisions and business controls
  • Oversee execution of issue management portfolio
  • Interpret and apply a range of policies and procedures for business functions
  • Collaborate with and influence business stakeholders, legal, compliance, risk and audit
  • Engage with all levels of roles across the business group
  • Serve as an experienced advisor in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Risk Management or Control Management experience
  • Previous experience with Customer Service or call center processes
  • Experience working in SHRP, Veritas or another enterprise governance, risk and compliance platform
  • Experience with Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
  • Experience with the Issue Management end-to-end lifecycle
  • Experience in control design and optimization
  • Experience conducting customer impact and root cause analysis
  • Understanding of Risk and Control Taxonomy
  • Proven consulting skills with ability to influence key business leaders
  • Experience communicating effectively with senior executive-level leaders
  • Ability to drive and lead organizational change
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work under pressure
  • Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Office

Nice to have:
