Job Description:

We are seeking a senior Infrastructure Asset Management professional to strengthen and grow our asset management advisory offering. This is a market-facing leadership role for a seasoned practitioner with deep technical credibility in infrastructure asset management (road, rail or utilities), strong consulting experience, and an established network across government and industry. The role combines hands-on asset management delivery with business development and client leadership. With 15+ years' experience, you will help shape client strategy, support complex asset investment and risk decisions, and build a sustainable pipeline of advisory work. As a specialist, you will also play a key role in mentoring and developing asset management capability across the business.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and deliver infrastructure asset management advisory engagements for government and industry clients
  • Provide strategic advice on asset investment prioritisation, risk, performance, and whole-of-life decision making
  • Translate complex technical and data-driven issues into clear, defensible advice for executives, boards, funders, and regulators
  • Drive business development by identifying opportunities, building trusted client relationships, and contributing to a strong sales pipeline
  • Leverage industry networks to generate repeat work and long-term client partnerships
  • Collaborate with adjacent consulting service lines (project delivery, advisory, ESG, cost management) to deliver integrated client outcomes
  • Mentor and develop asset management professionals, strengthening technical judgement, commercial awareness, and consulting capability
  • Contribute to thought leadership through industry forums, publications, speaking engagements, and client insights
  • Act as a trusted leader who models strong professional ethics, collaboration, and a positive, growth-oriented culture

Requirements:

  • 15+ years' experience in infrastructure asset management, including time in a consulting environment
  • Proven experience providing senior technical and strategic advice within one or more infrastructure sectors (road, rail, or utilities including, water or energy, preferred)
  • Strong asset management credentials, with a tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field
  • asset management certification highly desirable (e.g. CAMA)
  • Demonstrated capability and interest in business development and client relationship management
  • Established industry network across asset owners, operators, government, and/or regulators, with recognised professional credibility
  • Track record of repeat clients and long-term advisory relationships
  • Ability to integrate asset management services with broader advisory and delivery offerings
