Job Description

The Lead Consultant of Data & Analytics Solutions is a project team lead and client-facing position within our organization. The Lead Consultant’s main responsibility is leading the day-to-day delivery and implementation of specified client projects. We are looking for someone who can be hands-on solving the most difficult technical aspects of data and analytics projects while also mentoring less experienced project team members. Strong communication skills are important, and ideal candidates should be comfortable being a main point of contact and consultative partner with our clients. There will also be opportunities to develop potential engagement opportunities by architecting creative streamlined solutions for data and advanced analytics projects while framing and demonstrating CTI solutions for potential client projects during the pre-sales discovery phase. Must be comfortable working individually and leading teams on projects with varying complexity and scope. Must be strong in Cloud Technology.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the data and requirements analysis, design, implementation and planning process. Perform hands-on tasks as required, typically in areas of high complexity. Provide technical architecture guidance to CTI, including contractors and customer project staff
  • Be the project focal point with client management and ensure successful delivery with high customer satisfaction
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s data, systems, business, and teams/people to frame the end-to-end project technical approach and plan
  • Onboard the team and oversee all work, directing CTI and client staff as appropriate. Ensure work meets technical, financial, and schedule goals
  • Perform hands-on design and implementation in crucial areas of the project
  • Execute time/billing processes and customer approval/financial processes

Requirements

  • Microsoft Azure and other cloud environments
  • Broad experience in data warehouse and business intelligence tools (BI, ETL, Data Quality and RDBMS tools/platforms)
  • Excellent understanding of data warehouses / data-marts and dimensional data models
  • Depth in at least one business domain (supply-chain, CRM, etc.)
  • Mastery of data and advanced analytics solutions development methodologies and project management
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in: Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar discipline
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience working with Business Intelligence/Data Analytics
  • Flexibility to travel locally and within the Northeast as business dictates
  • Strong communication skills

Modern Data Science and Advanced Analytics skills are preferred including but not limited to: Python, R, Hadoop/Big Data, MDM, Machine Learning, AI, NLP
