Job Description:

HCSC is looking for a dynamic individual to join its Corporate Compliance area! This position is responsible for conducting complex or high risk internal investigations of concerns of misconduct or potential violations of the code of business ethics, conduct and/or company policies. Incumbent will be preparing detailed summary reports and making recommendations to senior management for corrective action, including disciplinary action up to and including termination. Will also perform investigations and analyses on areas identified as moderate to high risk in the annual risk assessment as well as monitoring corrective action plans for HCSC and subsidiary operations and providing guidance on conflicts of interest and interpretation of company policies. This position provides mentoring to the Compliance Investigator II position in the absence of the Senior Manager and may assume some duties of the Senior Manager as needed.

Job Responsibility:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree AND 4 years’ experience involving researching/investigating compliance inquiries OR 6 years’ experience involving researching/investigating inquiries
  • Knowledge of audit/investigative policies and procedures and compliance regulations
  • Verbal and written communication skills to document investigations, compose summaries and conduct interviews
  • Lead the work of team members and communicate with management
  • Ability to work independently with all levels of management

  • Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation
  • Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) designation or Human Resources Professional designation
  • Juris Doctorate, Paralegal or other legal experience
  • Investigation, auditing or related experience with a focus on corporate ethics and compliance
  • Familiarity with external governmental agencies (i.e., EEOC, Department of Human Rights etc.)

  • Conduct fact-gathering, including stakeholder outreach, document review, and internal company system checks (e.g., C3, SAP, Concur, Salesforce)
