Allied Universal Technology Services® is seeking a Senior Service Technician to lead the delivery of advanced service and support for integrated security systems. In this key role, you will leverage your expertise to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and complex repairs on enterprise-level access control and IP-based video surveillance systems, including electrified locking hardware, card readers, IP/analog cameras, intercoms, video recorders, and both wired and wireless networks. Job Responsibility:
Travel to commercial client sites to service, repair, troubleshoot, and detect access control equipment and IP-based video security systems, including, but not limited to: Electrified and non-electrified locks, card readers, ancillary door devices
IP and analog cameras, head-end video recording devices
Wired and wireless systems and intercom systems
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced installation issues efficiently and effectively to ensure company compliance with standards and building codes, as well as company safety policies and procedures
Execute, document and track service-related issues through ServiceNow in accordance with Federal, state, and local regulations
Advanced knowledge of interpreting electrical schematics, CAD drawings and related documents for use in low-voltage applications
Provide high level of phone and on-line remote diagnostic support with a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients
Lead, collaborate and perform tasks with other internal teams and clients as required
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of five (5) years of field experience, to include the following: Minimum of three (3) years of troubleshooting systems
Minimum of three (3) years of experience servicing access control, video and CCTV
Experience with any of the following: Software House, CCURE, Lenel, AMAG, S2, Brivo, Milestone, Exacqvision, Axis, Bosch, Commend, DMP, Open Options, Notifier, Fluidmesh or ONSSI
Possession of state specific licensing or ability to obtain and hold license once hired
Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly navigate and oversee the use of multiple systems and applications
Exceptional interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills to document and report important information with all levels of the organization
Ensure the completion of tasks and projects, both independently and as part of a team, to meet deadlines and contribute to the overall success of the organization
Available for scheduled "on-call" duties to respond to emergency service tickets/requests
Advanced troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electronics aptitude
Highly proficient ability to work with a variety of hand and power tools
Capable of lifting with assistance up to 50lbs and work on various ladder heights
Nice to have:
Manufacture certifications in any of the following: Lenel, S2, Genetec, Software House/CCURE, Avigilon, Milestone, Exaqvision, Axis, DMP, Bosch
Demonstrated ability to program access control systems or IP-based video equipment
