Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Relationship Manager in the New England market supporting the Northeast Region as part of the Commercial Bank. This role involves managing complex client relationships, structuring financial solutions, collaborating with teams, driving new initiatives, and ensuring compliance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop, retain, and grow complex client relationships through the art of relationship management
  • lead structuring, modification, and renewal of complex cash flow, real estate loans, and other industry-specific solutions
  • review, understand, and offer the full suite of complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo
  • make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations
  • strategically collaborate and consult with peers and managers to resolve client issues
  • drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions
  • support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients
  • partner with Commercial Lending Product Management to provide feedback on client and market needs

Requirements:

5+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have:

  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • completion of formal credit training program
  • commercial banking account relationship management experience within the Emerging Middle Market segment ($25MM-$100MM annual sales revenue)
  • demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes, and mitigating risk issues
  • excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
