Job Description

The Lead Commercial Development Manager – International Care Navigation is responsible for driving commercial launch readiness and successfully bringing our patient care navigation services to markets outside the United States. This role is a hands-on position and will work with various levels of management and departments through the enterprise commercial organization, business units, and various technical and operational teams. The Lead Commercial Development Manager leads commercial workstream(s) in managing deliverables that correspond to robust sales, marketing, and market access strategy and tactical readiness for a successful launch. Their focus is to ensure that the key elements of the commercial development process are robust and delivered on time. This includes leading commercial launch readiness review process(es), in coordination with the product development process. This role will work quickly to understand interdependencies, develop and communicate plans, prioritize appropriately, rally cross-functional teams to be united on key objectives, escalate risks and mitigations, and problem-solve collaboratively in a dynamic and matrixed organization. The Lead Commercial Development Manager will also provide post-launch support to ensure successful transition from launch readiness into steady-state commercial execution.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead commercial launch readiness workstream(s) to ensure comprehensive commercial launch planning and timely execution
  • Design and deploy an effective structure for commercial launch planning, based on the scope of the product/service offering, resources available, and timeline
  • Facilitate productive, cross-functional meetings with clear agendas and action items
  • Provide a clear summary of decisions, issues, and actions to ensure key stakeholders are appropriately informed and can act accordingly
  • Develop, track, and report against detailed project timelines/work plans, schedules, status reports, resource plans, budgets, and status reports

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Science, Management Information Systems, or field as outlined in the essential duties
  • 6+ years of cross-functional management experience with demonstrated record of accomplishment and delivering results
  • 6+ years of experience leading experienced, complex teams or projects in a health care, life sciences, pharma, or medical device company
  • Demonstrated proficiency in implementing multiple operational and/or marketing projects/programs simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of program and project management processes, principles, and methodologies
  • Expert project management software skills
