Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager as part of the Commercial Banking group. This is a great opportunity to work with one of the top commercial banking lenders in the U.S.

Job Responsibility:

Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional
Act as a key participant in overseeing lending activities for a wholesale banking business and geographic market
Review and research complex multifaceted business challenges
Make decisions in complex situations requiring understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues
Lead projects and teams or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

5+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
4+ years of experience underwriting middle market and corporate clients
Experience with commercial, owner-occupied real estate or IRE lending including documentation, due diligence and regulatory compliance processes
Strong cash flow and asset-based lending credit analysis skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with bank syndications, multi-bank participations and clients with varying and complex capital structures
Experience negotiating, managing and amending complex credit facility legal documentation
Completion of a formal credit training program
Strong risk management and compliance skills
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Nice to have:

4+ years of experience underwriting middle market and corporate clients
Experience with commercial, owner-occupied real estate or IRE lending
Experience with bank syndications, multi-bank participations
Experience negotiating complex credit facility legal documentation
Completion of a formal credit training program
