Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager within our Auto Group for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B as part of the Commercial Bank.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional, with broad impact
  • Act as a key participant in overseeing lending activities for a wholesale banking business and geographic market
  • Review and research complex multifaceted, large scale, and long term business challenges
  • Make decisions in complex and multifaceted situations requiring understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid level to more experienced managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and teams or serve as a peer mentor

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience
  • 4+ years of commercial auto underwriting and franchised auto dealership finance industry experience
  • Experience with complex credit, underwriting, and debt structure for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B
  • Completion of a formal credit training program
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Experience developing and maintaining external and internal partnerships
  • Experience in swiftly adopting and executing change management to enable business growth
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
