Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator. In this role, you will review complex credit information of loans for companies and industries, provide support to the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team, perform complex credit investigations, and interact with immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits. The role also involves providing feedback and presenting ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management.

Job Responsibility:

Review complex credit information of loans for companies and industries
Provide support to the Commercial Banking Portfolio Management team and more experienced individuals in the credit approval process
Perform complex credit investigations on companies and industries
Utilize knowledge and interpretation of procedures to direct less experienced individuals
Interact with immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits
Support performance and overall effectiveness of team, as well as cross-group administrative operations
Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and tools within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management
Review credit information of loans for companies and industries
Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers and contact available sources of information
Perform or guide others on complex tasks or initiatives that require planning, evaluation, and interpretation
Independently prioritize work and provide day-to-day-work leadership and mentorship to team
Lead or contribute to implementation of new or revised processes and procedures
Provide guidance and subject matter expertise to immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management on wide range of information

Requirements:

6+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Analytical bent of mind and ability to draw pattern from discrete set of data
Good knowledge with excel skills with ability to develop and comprehend complex function and macros
Excellent communication skills, with good comprehension and business writing skills
Experience in financial analysis, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Degree/Masters in accounting, Finance, Economics or CA Inter
Any professional certification in Finance/Accounting/Economics would be a plus
Certification in VBA/Advanced Excel would be a plus
Should have 5 – 8 years of work experience

Nice to have:
