Job Description:

The 3Cloud Lead Cloud Platform Engineer is primarily responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, lead the architectural design sessions with the client, provide regular coaching and guidance to peers that help with the implementation, manage client expectations all while cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture. The role provides a career path for Sr. Cloud Engineers and Cloud Engineers that are aspiring to lead and guide client engagements from end to end.

Job Responsibility:

Provide technical delivery leadership on client engagements
Lead architectural design sessions with clients
Provide regular coaching and guidance to peers
Manage client expectations
Cultivate a collaborative and inclusive team culture
Provide technical oversight and guidance for younger career team members
Serve as coach in a player-coach model to upskill team members
Foster relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and outside the practice
Function as technical delivery oversight on multiple client engagements
Partner with Delivery Excellence to align project milestones
Help delivery team reach billable targets by assisting with project blockers
Keep apprised of latest technologies
Gain exposure to other 3Cloud offerings to help position in existing engagements
Identify new Cloud Infrastructure & Security solution opportunities
Lead infrastructure offerings committees
Create reusable artifacts and content

Requirements:

Strong consultative skills
Broad deep technical knowledge across Azure technologies (Log Analytics (KQL), Application Insights, Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure Security, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Automation (IaC), Azure Sentinel, App Services, Containers (AKS), Managed Instances, Azure SQL, Azure DNS, Azure Virtual Desktop + Nerdio, Azure Files)
Strong understanding of Cloud Infrastructure solutions and delivery/execution using IaC (Bicep or Terraform)
Ability to facilitate change orders and project extensions
Ability to drive alignment between technical mesh points across practice areas
AZ-305 Cloud Architect certification obtained
