Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead CIB Portfolio Manager to specialize in financing various investment banks, mortgage REITs, debt funds, commercial real estate finance companies and other lenders' acquisition/origination of commercial real estate loans.

Job Responsibility:

Underwrite and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate loans
Incorporate analysis into well written credit approval memorandums
Analyze financial statements of commercial real estate non-bank lenders
Conduct reviews of clients' annual and quarterly financial statements
Spread financials and monitor covenant compliance
Review client loan due diligence packages
Prepare asset approval forms for new transactions
Coordinate reviews of third-party reports
Prepare weekly pipeline updates
Determine appropriate strategy and actions to meet moderate to high-risk deliverables
Assist in leading the team to achieve business objectives and strategy

Requirements:

5+ years of Experience in CIB Portfolio Management
Experience underwriting all major commercial real estate property types including office, multifamily, industrial, retail, hospitality, etc.
Outstanding analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Proficiency in financial analysis
Demonstrated experience in corporate underwriting
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience (specifically advanced finance and accounting Excel functions)
Extensive technical writing skills
A BS/BA degree or higher

Nice to have:

Demonstrated leadership in coaching, training and mentoring
Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
Excellent skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
