Job Description:

Lead Capital Markets Document Negotiator for the negotiation of various trading agreements as part of the growth of Wells Fargo's Asia Pacific trading business within the Corporate & Investment Banking. This position is in Singapore and will support the region.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare, negotiate and track various trading and financing agreements (ISDA, CDEA, GMRA, Treasury Clearing documentation)
Act as point and peer reviewed for other negotiators
Drive new business pipeline with all stakeholders
Work on various projects including regulatory implementation, amending and updating templates, processes and systems
Interpret policy when working with legal, credit and business
Identify and mitigate business and legal risks within compliance requirements
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including senior Sales and Trading management

Requirements:

5+ years of Capital Markets Document Negotiation experience
Solid understanding of ISDAs, CDEAs and GMRAs
Familiar with Sponsored Repo and Treasury Clearing documentation
Familiar with Dodd Frank documentation issues including Regulatory Variation Margin and Initial Margin requirements
Existing negotiation relationships with significant APAC counterparties
Experience reviewing and affirming counterparty organizational documentation and jurisdictional guidelines
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Understanding of relevant compliance, credit, legal, regulatory, operational and business policies and procedures
Team player with excellent communication skills
Ability to articulate complex material to diverse audiences
High degree of organization to prioritize and manage multiple negotiations
Excellent understanding of underlying transaction and security documents

Nice to have:

7+ years of Capital Markets Document Negotiation experience
Interest in other trading documentation
