Requirements

Proficiency with CAT5, CAT6, and fiber optic cabling
Experience in server infrastructure and data center setups
Familiarity with access control and video surveillance systems
Ability to work at heights using ladders or lifts safely
Strong communication and problem-solving skills for on-site troubleshooting
Willingness to travel extensively for project assignments

Job Responsibility

Install and configure low-voltage cabling, including CAT5 and CAT6 wiring, for various systems
Conduct server rack and stack operations, ensuring proper setup and functionality
Perform high-ceiling cabling tasks, working on ladders or lifts exceeding six feet
Set up and maintain communication rooms, including punching down cables to switches
Install and maintain access control systems and video surveillance equipment
Participate in data center and office build-outs, ensuring efficient wiring and node installations
Travel frequently to project sites, with all travel expenses reimbursed by the client
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site

Supervise several teams comprised of Security Installation Technician I’s and II’s
Installation of electrical wiring, panels, cables, and security devices
Troubleshoot new installations to ensure the systems are functioning properly and satisfy codes
Responsible for the connection of control panels, application requirements, wire concealment, and security software installation
Install, program and configure commercial electronic security systems for enterprise commercial clients (door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication, electronic locks, point sensors, signaling devices, ect.)
