We are seeking an experienced Lead Cable Technician (Super Lead) to serve as the on-site authority overseeing structured cabling and fiber deployment activities. This individual will act as the primary point of contact (POC) for client stakeholders and will be responsible for execution, field leadership, communication, and overall team performance during assigned shifts. This is a hands-on leadership role within enterprise and hyperscale data center environments.
Job Responsibility:
Serve as the on-site POC for client stakeholders and partners
Execute and manage daily work plans alongside L1 and L2 technicians
Direct, prioritize, and coordinate team tasks to meet delivery timelines
Monitor work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to client standards
Address field issues in real time and escalate when necessary
Act as the escalation point for L1 and L2 technicians during deployment and testing
Communicate progress updates, risks, and completion status to client stakeholders
Requirements:
Extensive experience deploying fiber cabling in enterprise or hyperscale environments
Proven leadership experience managing on-site technical teams
Strong communication skills with both field technicians and client representatives
Ability to adjust plans based on field conditions and evolving client direction
Must own fiber cable equipment (strippers, cutters, screwdriver kit, cut-resistant gloves, etc.)
Nice to have:
Experience working directly with hyperscalers or large telecom providers
Familiarity with change management processes, MOPs (Methods of Procedure), and structured rollout plans
